F1 2020 – France Track Guide

Circuit Paul Ricard (aka Le Castellet) is a Formula 1 circuit in France, located on a windy plateau at Le Castellet, not far from Marseille. The French Grand Prix was organized fourteen times on the circuit between 1971 and 1990. The very fast course did not lend itself to exciting wheel-to-wheel fights and was therefore removed from the Grand Prix list. Since then the Formula 1 race has been held on the circuit of Magny-Cours, Nevers, until this race was also abolished in 2008. Since then no French Grands Prix has been held, but in 2018 the race returned to the Circuit Paul Ricard.
