Asetek La Prima (12Nm), Forte (18Nm) and Invicta (27Nm) Direct Drive Wheelbases

During the recent Gamescom in Cologne, the Danish Asetek officially introduced a prototype of its upcoming Invicta Direct Drive Wheelbase. Now Asetek is officially introducing the La Prima (12 Nm), Forte (18 Nm) and Invicta (27 Nm) Direct Drive Wheelbases. In a new product video, Asetek CEO André Eriksen explains everything you need to know about the different wheelbase choices and their mounting options. The Asetek Direct Drive Wheelbases, with the exception of the La Prima, are available for pre-order starting today.

The La Prima wheelbase is only available in a bundle. Two different bundles have been announced.

  • La Prima Wheel & Wheelbase Bundle: La Prima Direct Drive Wheelbase 12Nm and the La Prima Formula Steering Wheel.
  • La Prima Bundle: La Prima Sim Racing Pedals Brake and Throttle, La Prima Direct Drive Wheelbase 12Nm and the La Prima Formula Steering Wheel.

In general, entry-level often means poorer quality materials, poor build quality equating to reliability issues, and shorter product life. Asetek’s approach is different; they say they have not compromised on quality because they want the same reliability and excellent performance across our entire product range. They maintain the same quality materials on all their products. But to successfully hit the perfect price, they instead remove some features that you can upgrade later.
