Packaging & Contents
We received a large white bubble envelope sent from the Netherlands, delivered to us within two business days by PostNL. Upon opening the envelope, we found three pairs of gloves in sizes S, L, and XL, ensuring that each member of our team has a suitable pair. Currently, 24 Racers offers gloves in three color styles, and we have received all three color styles.
The use
We are testing the 24 Racers Sim Racing Gloves in Assetto Corsa Competizione, using steering wheels with rubber (GRID MPX Sim Racing Steering Wheel), leather (Fanatec F1 2020 Limited Edition Steering Wheel), and alcantara (Simucube Tahko GT-21 Black Edition Steering Wheel) grips. Upon first putting on the gloves, it’s immediately apparent that they have a good fit and feel comfortable. The fabric feels high-quality and sturdy, fitting nicely around our hands, although it feels slightly stiffer due to the robust fabric. The gloves are stitched on the outside, so we don’t feel any seams when wearing them. Since the gloves are essentially karting gloves, they extend a bit over our sleeves or wrists, which isn’t bothersome, and we don’t experience any discomfort while driving. Although the fabric feels sturdy, it’s not too thick, so we don’t get sweaty hands during driving, even during long sessions. With all the steering wheels we’ve used, including rubber, leather, and alcantara, we find the grip on all variants very comfortable.
Conclusion
The 24 Racers Gloves do not only offer comfort but also excellent grip during racing. They are easy to put on, have a good fit, and are very comfortable, although they feel a bit stiffer than what we’re used to. Made of high-quality fabric and featuring a breathable design, they prevent overheating of the hands during long racing sessions and provide good ventilation, preventing sweaty hands. Whether you have a steering wheel with rubber, leather, or alcantara grips, the anti-slip coating on the palms ensures excellent grip on the steering wheel, even in challenging racing situations. These gloves are crafted with attention to detail and high-quality materials, making them robust and reliable even after prolonged use.
