Fanatec Finally Launches Bentley GT3 Steering Wheel

In June 2021, Fanatec, the German manufacturer of sim racing accessories, announced a collaboration with Bentley Motors Limited to create a steering wheel that would be compatible with both Fanatec wheelbases and the 750 HP Continental GT3 Pikes Peak race car, which participated in the iconic hill climb event. However, despite the announcement, the steering wheel was never released to the sim racing community—until now. After three years of waiting and under Corsair’s ownership, Fanatec has finally launched the Bentley GT3 Steering Wheel.

The wheel, with a 310 mm diameter and Bentley’s signature design, features a 3.4-inch display, a magnesium core, a 5 mm thick carbon fiber front plate with a unique green weave pattern, and Alcantara grips. Equipped with an FIA-approved quick-release (QR2) system, the wheel is compatible with both the real Bentley race car and Fanatec wheelbases, offering a combination of luxury and functionality for sim racers and professional drivers alike.

The Fanatec Bentley GT3 Steering Wheel is priced at €1999.95, excluding shipping costs. For more information, you can visit Fanatec’s website. Of course, we’ll be sharing our detailed opinion on this steering wheel soon, but can’t wait? Use our direct affiliate link to Fanatec and support us!

Additional details:

The large, round display shows game telemetry and special functions through a custom interface. Force feedback and hardware settings can be adjusted via the Fanatec Tuning Menu, providing a truly unique experience.

Beyond being a racing accessory, the steering wheel can also serve as a decorative piece. It can be mounted on a wall or desk and powered via USB to function as a clock, inspired by the traditional timepiece in the Bentley Continental GT. The wheel can even play pre-programmed race telemetry, including steering inputs, gear shifts, a G-meter, and a track map.

The range of control options includes premium snap-dome buttons, two 7-way FunkySwitch™ joysticks with encoder functionality, two aluminum thumbwheels, a magnetic shift paddle, and a dual analog clutch system.

The paddle shifters are inspired by the design of Bentley’s Continental GT shift paddles, featuring four magnetic paddles — two for gear shifting and two for additional functions. The clutch paddles use Hall sensors for precision and durability.

Lighting is not only provided by the main display but also by the illuminated buttons and programmable RevLEDs and FlagLEDs, adding a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere to the wheel.
