Leoxz XF1 Pro, XF1 SPORT-USB & DDU800 announced
Recently we were allowed to review the Leoxz XF1-Sport Steering Wheel and today we received a nice press release from Leoxz announcing a number of great new products and developments. Read the quote below from Leoxz himself.
“We would like to share our latest plans and product adjustments with you. In the past six months of market research and feedback, we have found that a large number of consumers are looking for a customizable steering wheel. There is no doubt that if we can add customizable leds and dashboards to our product, it will greatly enhance its competitiveness and attract more consumers. Therefore, we are very excited to introduce our latest products: XF1 Pro, XF1 Sport-USB and DDU800.

XF1 Pro’s design and appearance continue XF1 Sport. It still has a delicate handle feel and a sturdy aluminum alloy back cover that has been black anodized for long-lasting durability. Unlike XF1 Sport, XF1 Pro uses forged carbon fiber panels with a special coating. They have unique textures and different gloss at different angles. XF1 Pro adopts a higher resolution IPS screen, which can be customized using SimHub Dash Studio. It also has 18 RGB LEDs that can be customized for color and brightness, and 2 Multi-directional joysticks with integrated encoders, which means XF1 Pro will have more inputs. We believe it will be a great product at this price point. The suggested retail price for XF1 Pro starts from 519.95 euros.
XF1 Pro uses a specially customized vocore screen, which can achieve 16bit color and 60FPS screen update rate through usb2.0. It’s worth noting that for 16-bit color screens, color banding may occur when displaying gradient images, even for high-end steering wheels on the market (priced at 1000-2000 euros). XF1 Pro solves this problem with a highly optimized color dithering algorithm, resulting in more delicate screen representation. When changing the paddles mode, setting the bite point and LEDs brightness through the SimHub control, there will be relevant prompts on the screen to ensure that you can get feedback at any time in the game.

The second new product of 2023 is the XF1 Sport-USB, which is a USB version based on the XF1 Sport. It is more user-friendly and caters to the needs of budget-conscious consumers. At the same time, it reduces the after-sales cost for dealers, allowing us to focus more on the market and product. This version is only suitable for USB connection and the 4-way joystick has been removed. A special change is that all lights have been changed to RGB LEDs, and color and brightness can be set through Simhub. Customizable LED lights are a huge consumer demand, so we added this feature. The dashboard is the same as the XF1 Sport. The suggested retail price for XF1 Sport-USB starts from 399.95 euros.

The last new product is DDU800, which uses the same 4.3inches IPS screen as XF1 Pro. It can customize dashboards and leds through SimHub, and has four customizable buttons on the back. The buttons can be set to switch screens and adjust screen brightness, or simply be set as game inputs. The suggested retail price for DDU800 is 189.95 euros.
