Simucube has unveiled the Valo GT-23 Simrace Steering Wheel

Simucube, a leading innovator in the world of high-performance sim racing equipment, is excited to introduce its latest product: the Valo GT-23 steering wheel. Although the Valo GT-23 wheel was showcased at the Sim Racing Expo 2022, it is now finally available for sim racers to purchase.

The new steering wheel offers advanced features and a robust, stylish appearance. The Valo GT-23 wheel features dual clutches with hall-effect sensors, enabling quick launches or convenient handbrake control, ensuring hands stay on the wheel at all times. The 18 RGB LEDs provide in-game telemetry data, ensuring fast response times.

The grand aim of the design process was to make a statement and proudly showcase what Simucube is truly capable of in the realm of steering wheels. The result is a completely black wheel on the front, with orange raw energy captured inside and underneath, perfectly reflecting the essence of the people for whom it is made. Revealing the raw edge was deliberately avoided to achieve a design that deviates from the typical angular style. A dualistic style was retained, balancing the pure smooth front panel with a functional rear part.

Features of the Simucube Valo GT-23 Steering Wheel

  • Dual clutches with hall-effect sensors and adjustable bite point position for quick, precise launches or convenient handbrake control, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel at all times.

  • D-shaped steering wheel makes it easy to handle all driving styles without the need to swap the wheel—something purely Formula-style wheels might not accommodate. Alcantara for grip and durability. Black anodized CNC-machined aluminum for stiffness and zero flex. Gloves are recommended to keep the surface pristine!
  • 2 x switches with N52 magnets, Omron microswitches, and adjustable position offer an excellent and consistent feel with satisfying magnetic clicks. Rated to endure 1 million presses.
  • 10 x buttons with durable Apem Tactile Switches and sturdy aluminum protectors, rated to endure 10 million presses.
  • 2 x front rotary encoders by Bourns with 20 pulses per revolution, rated to endure 100 thousand cycles. Matching the quality of the thumb rotary encoders.
