SRB at the Sim Formula Europe 2025

The Sim Formula Europe 2025 (SFE2025), held from January 16th to 19th at the familiar MECC in Maastricht, is already behind us. As SimRaceBlogNL, we were there on Friday, January 17th, and Saturday, January 18th, to experience this always amazing sim racing event up close. And what an edition it was!
Friday gave us the perfect opportunity to explore everything at our own pace. Without the crowds of Saturday, we had plenty of time to chat with exhibitors and brands, try out different gear and simulators, and enjoy everything the event had to offer. This gave us the chance to explore the latest developments in the sim racing world and have interesting, in-depth conversations. We got a preview of the new upcoming products from Sim-Lab, surprised our friends at Gomez Sim Industries with some Dutch treats, and caught up with Simucube, testing their new beta software with the Ultimate Active Pedals. As always, we also had a spin in the full-fledged Formula simulator from Referox, and we asked Manu from Simwear.eu about what he thinks is the best item he brought to SFE this year. We were once again amazed by all the eye candy at the Ascher stand, exchanged thoughts with SimRep Engineering, and Zen’s Simwheels is now a familiar name for us.
Saturday had a completely different vibe: wonderfully busy! The stands were filled with more enthusiastic visitors, impressed by the impressive simulators, accessories, and technologies. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the passion for sim racing was palpable from both visitors and exhibitors. We also had interesting conversations with other attendees, some of whom already knew us and others who didn’t. Additionally, we spoke with the winners of the giveaway, who won free tickets to both Sim Formula Europe and the Interclassics event through us. Before we headed home, we managed to meet Laurence Dusoswa, with whom we had more in common than we had expected. We’d like to give an extra shout-out to him for writing the amazing book ‘S is for Sim Racing‘; a sim racing ABC for kids. What makes it even more special is that part of the proceeds go to charity. We bought two copies from him on the spot.
We want to compliment the organization for how well everything was arranged again. A special thank you goes to Andy Maassen for his efforts and hospitality. With an event like SFE2025, we can only look back with satisfaction at a fantastic start to the new year. Check out the photos below for an impression of the atmosphere! We’re already looking forward to the next edition of this top event!
