SRB at the Sim Expo Dortmund 2025

Just like in previous years, the Sim Expo took place once again in Dortmund in 2025. The doors were open from October 17 to 19, and we from SimRaceBlog attended on Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th.

With over 24,000 visitors and 74 exhibitors, the Sim Expo broke records once again this year. We noticed it right away — where Friday is usually a quiet day, this year it was just as busy as Saturday had been last year. The weekend was completely sold out, and the entire Messe Dortmund hall was filled with booths and stages. The atmosphere was great — lively and fun, although it sometimes meant waiting a bit longer to try out new simracing hardware.

One of the things we always look forward to is catching up with familiar faces. We had some great chats with Conspit, Sim-Lab, Ascher Racing, Asetek, TREQ, BavarianSimTec, Zen’s Simwheels, SRP, and more. We also made new connections, including with BDH Race Sim Hardware and PXN.

Of course, the most exciting part is always discovering new simracing hardware. At Conspit, we saw their latest developments — the MAX 01 and PW1 steering wheels, along with new additions to the Ares wheelbase line, which will soon open up their ecosystem to third parties. Sim-Lab showed progress on their own wheelbases and the upcoming Cosworth CCW MK3 steering wheel, built in collaboration with SimRep Engineering.
Simagic introduced the new P700 pedal set, the Zeus steering wheel, and their EVO wheelbases. TREQ showcased their new CCX sim rig and shared more about their move to a new headquarters in Boekel (the Netherlands) — which we’ll definitely visit later.

Fanatec surprised us with their brand-new Podium DD wheelbase and Podium pedal set. At BavarianSimTec, we saw the new Delta line, while Asetek displayed prototypes of their upcoming handbrake and shifter.
Simucube presented their new 3 Series wheelbases, and at Zen’s Simwheels we got an up-close look at the LMP2-X. We also met the man behind Fat Black Cat for the first time and got a hands-on introduction to his pedal set.
At BDH Race Sim Hardware, we checked out their latest high-end Active H-pattern shifter, along with the H2 H-pattern + sequential shifter and the SH1 sequential shifter.

Of course, we saw and talked about much more than we can fit into one summary here. All in all, it was another great and fun edition of the Sim Expo — full of cool impressions and interesting talks about possible new reviews for 2026.
As always, we took plenty of photos — below you’ll find a nice impression of this fantastic weekend.

In short: Sim Expo 2025 was another big success!
