Trak Racer Simracing Gloves
Trak Racer, founded by Matt Sten in 2008, is an Australian company with a clear mission: to provide durable, high-end gaming platforms made with quality materials. With over a decade of experience, Trak Racer has become a well-known name in the market, reflected in their extensive product range. Trak Racer’s global reach is impressive, with distribution centers in more than 11 countries serving customers worldwide. This demonstrates that Trak Racer is no longer a small player but a significant force in the gaming platform market.
Currently, Trak Racer offers various simrigs and is also actively developing their own ecosystem. Additionally, they offer various accessories, such as the Trak Racer multi-use Simracing gloves. They now have multiple designs available in different color styles. When we attended the Sim Formula Europe 2024, where Trak Racer was also present, we were immediately drawn to the blue model. Trak Racer then promised to send us three pairs so that we could share our opinion about it with you. And indeed, they did!
The Trak Racer multi-use Simracing gloves are available in various designs, accessible through Trak Racer’s online store. The model we received is called the Trak Racer multi-use Simracing gloves Blue and is priced at €35.00, including Dutch VAT but excluding shipping costs.

Packaging & Contents
We received a large, white cardboard envelope originating from the Netherlands, delivered to us within two business days by UPS. Upon opening the envelope, we discovered three pairs of gloves in sizes M, L, and XL, ensuring that each member of our team has a suitable pair. We are delighted to receive one pair each of the Trak Racer multi-use Simracing gloves Blue.

The Use
We’ve decided to test the Trak Racer Gloves while racing in Assetto Corsa Competizione, using steering wheels with rubber (GRID MPX Sim Racing Steering Wheel), leather (Fanatec F1 2020 Limited Edition Steering Wheel), and alcantara (Simucube Tahko GT-21 Black Edition Steering Wheel) grips. When first trying on the gloves, it’s immediately noticeable that they have an excellent fit and are very comfortable. The fabric feels high-quality and sturdy, conforming nicely to our hands. Nice details are the little mustache on the index fingers and the bold letters T R A K on the all four fingers. The gloves are stitched on the inside, but we don’t feel any seams when wearing them. They neatly extend over the wrist without causing any irritation on the edge that touches our skin. The fabric is wonderfully flexible and not too thick, ensuring we don’t get sweaty hands even during extended driving sessions. With all three steering wheel variants – rubber, leather, and alcantara – we’ve used, we experience excellent grip and a pleasant sensation.

Conclusion
The Trak Racer multi-use Simracing gloves Blue not only offer comfort but also provide excellent grip during racing. They are easy to put on, have a good fit, and offer a very comfortable experience. Crafted from high-quality fabric and featuring a breathable design, they prevent overheating of the hands during long racing sessions and ensure optimal ventilation to prevent sweaty hands. Whether you’re using a steering wheel with rubber, leather, or alcantara grips, the anti-slip coating on the palms provides excellent grip on the steering wheel, even in the most challenging racing situations. These gloves are crafted with attention to detail from high-quality materials, making them robust and reliable even after prolonged use. We find the T R A K letters on the fingers and the depicted mustache on the index finger to be charming details.
